Anatomy & Physiology

This course exposes students to an enormous amount of information about the anatomy and physiology of the human body.  This course will provide innovative ways to help students critically evaluate new information and apply it in a classroom setting. During this course, students will gain exposure to various medical terminologies and perform engaging labs and dissections. This course is perfect for a student planning to pursue a post-secondary education in the medical field. Topics being covered in this course include the human body: an orientation; cells: the living units; tissue: the living fabric; the integumentary system; bones and skeletal tissues; the skeleton; joints; muscles and muscle tissue; the central nervous system; and the cardiovascular system.
