This course will introduce the students to basic micro and macroeconomics with a focus on supply and demand concepts, the factors of production and the business cycle. Students will learn about economic problems in the Unites States. While this course is primarily focused on economics as a whole, it will also cover important topics such as charitable giving, creating budgets, how to manage money, write checks, and balance accounts and how to start a business. This course is designed to improve the quality of the student’s future through financial literacy and the acknowledgement that God supplies all of our needs and contentment will be examined. Students will understand that economics is the science of choice and as Christians we should make choices with Christ in mind.
