Please pray for my husband, children, and church: that we effectively model and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ

Mrs. Charlotte R. Watkins serves as the Elementary School Principal. She is a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, and most importantly a Christian.

Mrs. Watkins is a native Floridan. She began her educational journey at Bethune Cookman College, in Daytona Beach, Florida, acquiring a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She attended the University of North Florida for her graduate studies, receiving her first Masters of Education degree in Instruction and Curriculum, and her second Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership, Supervision, and Administration. Mrs. Watkins has taught at the elementary level, as well as at the post-secondary graduate level. Prior to joining Riverdale Baptist School, she also served as a school administrator in the public school system.

As an educational leader, she strives daily to create an environment that meets the needs of each student by engaging them not only through self-discovery and higher-order thinking skills but also by providing opportunities for students to develop as visionaries and leaders, rooted in the Word of God.

Please pray that I always seek Christ first in my decision making as I lead, serve, and support.
